mt2000 and scan

mt2000 and scan

hi everyone i got a puzzling dilema............i have 16 personalities programmed.........all pers: are in scan list (1) when i go to the section
(F-8 scan list) i cant enter ch 16 ,,, it stops at 15.
it wont let me scan all 16 personalities only 15 WHY?
anyone got any ideas

That is the radio's limitation...15 conventional personalities is the maximum you can put into a scan list. I guess the thought behind it was you could sit on channel 1 for example, and put channels 2-16 in the scan list. That way, you hear the traffic on all 16 channels...as long as you stay on channel 1...

wavetar do you work at a radio shop or what?
you have alot of answers to peoples questions. or maybe you been around a while........anyway your knowledge is very appreciatted ecspecially here on my end

Thanks. Yes, I do work at an MSS, and I've learned a lot there, but I've learned as much if not more just by being here on the Batboard for the past 6-7 years or so. I try to return that by helping any way I can.
