Minitor IV stored voice parameters

Post by adlertom »

Can anyone advise what the SV parameters are for the Minitor IV? I need to know total number of available seconds for recording, partition options, etc.

Thanks.

Minitor IV stored voice parameters

The Minitor IV Stored Voice allows for 120 seconds of total record time. The programming options for stored voice are: 15 sec, 30 sec, 60 sec, and Dynamic for one model Minitor IV Stored Voice chip, and 20 sec, 40 sec, 80 sec, and Dynamic for the other model Minitor IV Stored Voice Chip. Dynamic is 8 second blocks of record time.

So, with the first model SV chip, if you choose a 15 second message, you can have 8 total messages in storage, 30 seconds (4), and 60 seconds (2). Choosing dynamic uses however many 8 second blocks it needs to record the message. In theory, you could have 15 8-second messages or 1 120-second message, or anything in between.

Hope this helps!
