CDM 750 Speaker Problem

Post by resqman57 »

I cant get the internal speaker on a CDM 750 to work. I tried jumping the pins in the back (1 and 16 i believe) and nothing from the speaker... what can i do to make that speaker work? [email protected]

What radios do you own?: APX4K, XTL5K, NX5200, NX700HK

Take the control head off and see if it's plugged in. It should work by default. Nothing needs to be put on the 20 pin connector for operation under default conditions.

to disable it to use an external speaker you have to remove a jumper inside the radio, put it back and it should work. don't jump 1 & 16, that will cause a dead short.
