Still have MTS2000 scanning issue...

Post by BMWFREQ »

Well, I still have my MTS2000 scanning problem.

When ever I put the radio into scan mode, the radio will revert back to Z1/C1 when ever there is traffic on that channel and zone. No matter what zone/channel I have the radio in.

However, the radio will only do this when it is in scan mode.

I have looked the codeplug up and down, and I can not find a single option that may have been selected that would cause the radio to do this.

Anyone out there possibly experience the same problem?

If so, what was the fix/problem?

Thanks in advance-

If you want, you can email the codeplug to me and I'll have a look at it.

I found that he had the scan set up a little wrong in that he didn't have PROG added to the menu and had it set up as Priority Scan on the first three scan lists.

With that setup, he wouldn't be able to set which channel was Priority, so it is apparently defaulting to Z1/C1.

i saw that and told him to assign a priority different than z1c1 and see if it changes and never heard back if it worked.
