can I use a vhf/uhf duplexer with 2 vhf radios?

the duplex is like

and i need

Can I use the vhf/uhf or do I need to purchase another duplexer?

If you're talking about the small units that would be used on dual-band amateur radios, you can not use one like that for two VHF radios.

Basically the VHF port passes everything below 300 MHz, and the UHF port passes everything above 300 MHz. So the VHF radio on the VHF port would work fine, and the VHF radio on the UHF radio wouldn't work at all.

Just exactly what are you trying to do?

Is this a mobile situation? A repeater? Two base stations?

What are the frequencies? Where is it located, IE in your garage, a very congested public site, your car???
