Dumb question all.......Does one need a Smart RIB to program an MTS2000 or will the RLN4008 suffice?
You want me to do WHAT with your radio?

RLN4008 will work for normal programming like any other radio. The only thing you would want the smart rib for is for a flash upgrade.

No question is dumb. If you dont know, ask. Thats how we learn. :D
