Silly Vertex/Standard Program Cable Question

Hello,

Just wondering if anybody knows if a factory vertex cable is able to program GX1500 with an adaptor.

I have schematics for the PPS which is what is used to program the GX1500, just wondering if an adaptor can be made to re-arrange wires so that the factory cable used on VX2000, VXR7000's, etc... will work.
