Can someone tell me if the CDM750 comes with a dual head like the CDM1250?
And is there a decent price difference?
I'm spec'ing a command vehicle and we need two dual head radios. The second radio is only used for a tactical channel, so a 4 channel radio would be fine. The primary radio would need many channels.
On top of all this we need to use Motorola to be compliant with comm policy (use of MDC).
I'm also open to other ideas.
Thanks for your help.

1250's dont come with a dual head setup from M. The company is called quick mount. http://www.valleyindustrial.com/quickmount/index.html
They work on the 750's and the 1550's.

If memory serves, the Motorola offering is nothing but the Quickmount product. When you need it, you need it, but it costs approximately the same amount as an entire second radio, so it is best suited to applications were a second radio would cause additional problems.
If all you need on the one radio is to set it on a single channel and leave it there, why not just connect a remote mic and speaker, possibly with a volume control, to the accessory connector? That could probably be done for under $100.
