Difference in HLN1196"A" and HLN1196"B"

Post by firebuff17 »

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone can tell me the difference in the Wildcard Box Model #'s HLN1196A and HLN1196B?
Is there a differnce? Is the B a newer updated version? Is the difference just how the switches are set up X amount latching and X amount momentary?

Thank you very much

The letters at the end of Motorola model numbers are revision indicators. The 'later' the number, the more recent the revision. What the actual difference is bewteen the 'A' and 'B' revision, I have no idea. Most likely, some small internal problem that turned up in the original version was repaired, so the revision was changed to 'B'.

The A revision wild card has standard white backlight not the green led. It is much different than the B revision.
