Saber II UHF Securenet - Any DVP key programming primers?

Post by birddog »

I need some info on how to keyload a Securenet DVP Saber II. I'm starting from scratch, with no experience in doing it or knowledge how to do it. I'm assuming I'll need a keyloader and what else?

fyi.........I want to be able to do it myself to minimize the cost of maintaining our radios. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is an excellent primer on this site.

Loading keys into the radio is so easy that my three year old can do it. He likes the squel that that the radio makes when you load a key. Simply connect the KVL to the radio and push the button.

Loading a key into the KVL is a little trickier, but still very easy. Just press load, enter some numbers enter and it's done.

You're going to need a DVP keyloader (T3010xX), a KVL-to-Saber cable and DVP modules for each of your radios. Loading keys is simple when you have all the equipment.
