Radius M400 Programming

Post by dwh558 »

Does any one know how to program an M400 for the two meter band?

I can do most of it, but when it comes down to the lowest transmit frequencies, it will accept the freqs but will not transmit on them.

Freqs of 145Mhz or less will not transmit. 146 and above all seem to work OK.

Any thoughts?

If you can program them, then the TX VCO probably needs a little tweak....
Does it RX OK down low? You might check that in case you need to tweak it also.....

Max-trac is correct.

You need to monitor the steering line voltage and tweak the TX VCO coil. I had an M400 that did the exact same thing.
