2 Questions. Saber & Keyloader
Hello All:
I have a couple of newbie questions and I searched the archives and didn't see an answer to these.
1) I have several Saber Is and I'd like to clean them up a bit. Is there a part number from Moto for the "Saber" and "Motorola" stickers for the front of the housing? Or, does anyone have a few they'd like to part with?
2) I saw an adapter for using a Saber battery with a T3011BX key loader. Does anyone know anything about this animals?
Thanks for your help, and I'm learning a TON from reading the past posts.

1. I can get the part numbers, but it won't do any good. They are not available to just everyone now days after the whole "Nick Built" incident, and the last time i checked they were NLA anyway.
2. I had one of those adapters, if you can find one it's nice to have, but they are hard to find, NLA from Moto of course. What i also did besides having the Saber battery adapter for the keyloader was to take a MX300 battery and gut it and build in a regulator and power jack to use either a wall adapter or a cigarette lighter cable to power it. Considering how little one actually needs the keyloader, unless you change all the time, it's worthwhile to have something other than a dedicated battery for it.
You could build an adapter like that, and i did make one myself for someone else. I took a beat up Saber I case that was no longer useful for anything else and cut the bottom half inch off it, then i took a MX300 battery and gutted it and cut it down to about half an inch in height. Then i made a wooden block that fit inside the MX300 battery shell and drilled through it for the wiring, after soldering wires to the MX300 shells contacts and feeding them through the wooden block i fastened the block in with some screws, two from each side. Then i took the bottom part off the Saber and removed the nuts and retainers for them from the battery plate, soldered the wires to the flex inside the bottom for the battery contacts, and just fastened that onto the wooden block with a couple screws through the holes where the nuts were.
Same thing as the Moto one, just not fancy made... LOL

Scott may be right, the labels may be NLA. But here what you were looking for anyway.
I was looking for the labels a few weeks ago. This is what I found. The saber I labels are 3305183R01 For the "SABER" and 3305183R03 for the "MOTOROLA" Here is a link for a place that may have it in stock.. Im not 100% sure if its true but you can try them

Order bounced...
I put in an order to Radio Accessories for /\/\ labels and they wrote
back saying sorry, NLA. They said they just imported the /\/\ list then
later found out they can't get labels. So what else is new?

Yes... same thing happened to me.
"I want to send you an email to let you know that we were unable to process your order. We have uploaded the entire Motorola Catalog into our database and there are certain parts from Motorola that we find we cannot purchase. Labels happen to be one of those items. I hope that you will consider us for other parts or accessory needs in the future."

LABELS!
I suppose I'm too late to get in on the ordering craze for regular Saber labels?
If not, I would love to get a few for myself....How much do I need to send if I can obtain three?
Thanks in advance!

It's too late as I'm moving in less than a month and MOL always takes their sweet time. I ordered and paid for this an a lot of other stuff on the 5th of May and they just now got around to shipping it today.
If I have any left over, I can probably sell you a couple. I mostly bought them just to see if they were still available, but now that they are on the way, I'm going to use them.
