systems 9000 c/h on a D44KMA7JA5BK

Post by clay dungey »

I have a systems9000 control head that shows MODE 0 when connected to a uhf Spectre. Everything else appears to work and the radio does change frequencies, just doesn't show it. When reading the radio, the S9000 option is not abailable, only, ENHANCED, STANDARD and ROTARY. Anyway around this problem?

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

According to your radio model number, its not an A9 radio. You will need an A5 or A7 head for it to work properly.

If you haven't seen it yet, you may want to read thru

MODE 0 is the default display for the A9 head. The head has to be programmed with the display names, as they are storred in the head not the radio. The programming of the display names into the 9 haed is part of the Spectra RSS when the radio is an A9 model or the S9000 head is available as an option.

Also with a A9 head on an A5 or A7 radio aside from the display some of the buttons are not available or perform different functions, even no function.
