Will a cdm1250 do remote monitor encode/decode?

Post by 911-EMT »

I tried to make the remote monitor work on a cdm1250 and this is what I got, under the mdc system 1, in the remote monitor tab, the remote monitor type I could select is disabled, per command, silent, non-silent, but in signaling configuration, I can’t select remote monitor, and so under the controls & menus in the menu items tab, in the radio call sub-menu tab I can’t check the remote monitor box, so basically I could set it up but I can’t put it in the radio’s menu to access it. In the help file it says that the option is not available in older firmware but this is a new radio with the ver # R05.05.17.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

Enabling the feature is done by what you are doing. To actually use it requires a console that supports the command (Centracom II, etc).
Lowband radio. The original and non-complicated wide area interoperable communications system
