MCS2000 Question

Post by jwb8734 »

Is the MCS2000 able to be flashed for P25. I am having a discussion on another board about this and was told they are not. But looking over some info on Batlabs they are.

Nope.

I'm not sure where you are looking on Batlabs, but they are not P25 compatable.

The software and how they are programed are somewhat similar, but they are analog only radio.

I was looking at http://www.batlabs.com/arc/flash.doc
It didnt say it was not capable but did mention ,"...subscriber products do not support ALL features..." and it did not show APCO with and astrics to say MCS are not able to do so.

Definitely "no" for digital in an MCS.
