Hi I picked up a password breaker that was originally a "13-in-one NEC password breaker RD-3359N" from CPR (Certified Pager Repair)
However, someone opened it and replaced the 40 pin microcontroller (I can't tell what chip it is because the top was ground down), and now the unit does (older) motorola pagers. The data that shows on the screen is now "RD-3359A" and "R&D TECH CO" "PAGER SAVER" and the models in the menus are all motorolas (Bravo plus, Advisor, etc). I have the original NEC manual that came with it, showing how to hook up to the various pagers to remove the passwords, BUT I don't have the motorola information. I have no idea how to hook it up to remove the Motorola pager passwords for which this was designed.
I contacted CPR and they no longer have manuals for either the NEC or Motorola readers.
So; I need the instructions for the Motorola password breaker. I'd really appreciate a photocopy or scan or something. If you need the info for the NEC password breaker I'd be happy to send it to you. Or, if you know what kind of micrcontroller/chip these units work on I can pull the code off the NEC or Motorola chips I have and send you the file so you can burn your own. Apparently these password readers are all the same hardware, and only the software and the wiring to the pager change.
