How to build a P1225 cable?

Post by Rayjk110 »

Hello. I am going to attempt at least to build a programming cable for my batch of P1225's....I have the RIB, Software, etc...and I also have a rapid charger that I can sacrifice if need be. All batteries are Moto original (I think you need the moto one to program it)...

How would I go about building this?

Thanks

Ok..

What I ended up doing was using a Jedi HT1000 cable.

Yes, I know, you're probably thinking WTF?

But it just so happens that if you put the connector kinda diagonally on the rear battery connectors, the [-] and Bus[+] line up just perfect, leaving just the "Busy" pin unused. You just have to hold the radio and the cable together while reading/writing. I was suprised that it actually worked well.

Thanks all for the input.
