DTMF ANI on MTS2000

Post by crazyboy »

Is there a way I can use dtmf for ani on a mts2000? If not is there a way to get a sidetone without having mdc on the radio?

Yes, you can use the MTS2000 with DTMF ANI. I am still on the hunt for CPS for my MTS2000, so I am not sure if the side tone is an option without a signalling system.

If you can't use DTMF without some other form of signalling, you may want to try add-on boards that will allow just DTMF-ANI.

http://www.midian.com

I've used their products for years, and they stand behind them!

I had a simple wire break on a GE-STAR ANI board and they sent me a FREE connector/harness at no cost to me, THAT'S what I call service, and THAT'S why I buy from Midian!

Sorry for the shameful plug....but it's true.

Actually, come to think of it, since they're both Jedi series radios...(HT1000/MTS)....

Try this thread:

Hopefully that helps.

The person programming it for me couldn't figure get that to work. I was hoping someone could tell me where to find it in the rss so I can pass it along.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

Could also change the thread's subject title to more accurately refelect what you are asking.

mts2000? doesn't say much, and people who may be able to help just might skip over it.
Lowband radio. The original and non-complicated wide area interoperable communications system
