David Clark Pin Out

Post by Kirk Higgins »

I'm trying to convert a David Clark Model C3032 headset adapter for use with an Icom IC-F121/221 radio. I've got the service manual for the Icom radios, but I need to know what the pin outs are for the modular plug on the headset adapter. Anyone happen to know what they are? Thanks.

What radios do you own?: XTL, XTS, Saber, Spectra, MTS2

The C3032 is for a Yaesu VX-3000U. My experience has been that the engineering staff at David Clark is ALWAYS most accommodating in providing prints and drawings to their headsets and adapters. I would call them at 508 751-5800, and they will fax or email you a copy of the drawing for the adapter that you have.

I have converted 8 of their headsets from one use to another, but some 6000 and 7000 series. Great equipment; great support...
