xts5000 programming cable

does anyone have the pinout for a xts5000 programming cable....radio to usb connector and radio to rib(db25)

i don't think you can use a rib or ribless cable with the 5000's. i think it's usb only.

There is a ribless DB9 Serial model in addition to the USB.

Yep, I have one... wish I had a USB, as my laptop with serial port got dropped and will be replaced... by a model with no serial. :evil:

I have a serial to UBS adapter cable that work just fine with my XTS 3000 and 5000 cables that are serial. You can get this item at your local electronics store for around $35

You can buy a new "M" cable for less than $100 now, FWIW.
