cps error code...

hi im trying to program a cps portable and with an older ver (4.0) software i get certain error codes as "cannot add 18 channels" or something like that, and another code is 4-1379. thats with a newer ver 6 software. can anyone explain them to me? thanks.

What radio are you trying to program and what cps do you have (as far as for what radio and what version)?

Use current version CPS. If you don't have the current version, contact Motorola and request current version upgrade as per your software subscription.

if i'm not mistaken 4-1379 is a area error. are you trying to program an overseas radio with american cps? what radio are you trying to program? if the software was just too old it would tell you codeplug too new.

yeah, what jeff said. do a search for "registry hack" and you'll see how to modify your current stuff to work on this radio.
