PR1500 USb Cable Question

Post by Vercomm »

Hi Just got my demo pr1500 and usb cable. I have tried to read my radio but it keeps comig back with errors. I have a good known working usb port. When I first plugged in the cable windows said new hardware found and installed a driver. But can't get it to work.

Any help would be really appreciated.

not only that, there is a whole section in the readme.txt file about making changes to windows should you have errors.

i have *NEVER* had any problems with CPS and the USB cable.

i've never used it on 98 but 98se is pretty much me but i'd try it on a newer version of windows and i'll bet it works. i'd upgrade to at least me and run all of the windows updates then try it.

That's your problem...it states in the CPS that USB is only supported in Windows ME, 2000, and XP. It will not work in Win95/98/98SE.
