A while back on here there was a conversation about controlling the fans on a Maxtrac or GM300 repeater when using one of the simple interfaces or a RICK interface and someone posted a link showing their setup and the website they bought their controller from but now i can't find the damn post or the website link i had saved in my favorites.
It was a nicely priced little board that was triggered with an input and had a timer to keep the fan on for the specified amount of time after the trigger was removed.
The reason why i bring this up is that website had some other control boards and related items that i could use now.
Anyone know what i'm talking about? I spent three damn hours searching the batbaord and getting no results to various search phrases, and google searching the web for the damn site.
Repeater Fan Controller, what was that website???

Duct tape is like the force, it has a dark side and a light side and it holds the universe together.

The only other thing i can remember was that is was a GMRS repeater in a GR300 style enclosure and he used the board in question to add fan control.
That web site had a lot of stuff like cheap DTMF control boards and a few other things but now i can't find it.

I bet you are talking about this:

We use the ELK-960 to control fans in the GR300 setup, and on control stations as well. We have to program one of the pins on the radio to go high and send voltage to the ELK-960. Let me know if you need further info.

Nope...
Let me specify a bit more...
It was just a small PCB that had a trigger input, a timer, and an output to drive a small load or a relay. The guy put it on his GMRS repeater to control the fan on the transmitter and he has a website showing his repeater located in a small remote ham shack, he had a link on his site to the company that sells the modules.
I'm not looking for options to accomplish this, i'm looking for that one damn website because they had a ton of neat items. I wanted to get one of the DTMF relay boards they had, it only required an audio and power input to use on a receiver and was super cheap.
I wish i could find that damn site, it's driving me nuts.

Yep, I think thats it.
And my GMRS repeater.
And my small remote ham shack.
You just described operations here to a freaking T, including the previous look of the website. So if thats not the device that you remember, you would be wise to check out the ELK-960. Websites do change.
And as for where you can buy this device:

Yep, Jay, that's the board and looks like the right website. Rayjk posted right before you and i replied to his post and you snuck your first one in there inbetween as i was typing and missed it! The post times are the same, you must have been typing while i was!
Now i just have to find the board i was looking for on their site, i did a search but couldn't find it. They used to have a DTMF control module on there, all you had to do was feed it receive audio and power and it would switch on an output when the right code was received. If i remember right it was two or three digits you could set for the code.
Hope they didn't cancel it. If anyone else can suggest a simple inexpensive DTMF module of that sort let me know. It needs to be CHEAP as it's only purpose will be a remote kill by DTMF command and doesn't need to do anything else.
