HK0695 Programming Cable

Does anyone know what sort of beast this HK0695 programming cable fits? It's got a 25 pin female D sub connector one one end, and a small 6 pin modular connector on the other.

I turned the thing over and found the part number on the other side... It's for the MCR100 radios, according to this fine document:

I'm still wondering about the meaning of the HK number though.
