maxtrac option board?? and no audio

Post by rrfd43 »

Got a maxtrac used in a distant recieve site I believe controlled remotely. Now that is decommissioned and removed there is no audio from the front speaker. (not sure if you heard audio when in service) You can hear it click when it powers up. Inside behind the head is a board attached between the pin sets that go from the chassis and the head. This board connects to the pins from the chassis and the orginal head cable plugs into it. I assume this its the remote tone control board (?).

Numbers on it include:

MR216AD

LSC5

On the chips: 1109 and lm380n

If I remove this board can I reconnect the head and get standard audio again?

That is a tone remote adaptor, there is also an external box.

Just un plug the board, and plug the display and vol/mic plugs into the logic board.

The board if I am correct provided intercom audio.
