Maxtrac 800Mhz Question

Maxtrac 800Mhz Question

I have a Maxtrac Model H11UCD6CB1AN .This radio says its Dual Mode,can some one tell what Dual Mode Means?

That looks like an 800 MHz GTX hand-held radio model number. Check out the GTX pages on BatLabs and repeater-builder to verify.

The only thing I can think of that might be dual-mode is trunking vs conventional channels.

Sorry,your right,i posted the wrong Model number,it is D45MWA5GB7AK and it say Motorola Maxtrac 840 Dual Mode Mobile Radio with Scan.
I was trying figure out what Dual Mode is ?

Either that means it can do both trunking and conventional, or that it can do talk-around (transmit on the output frequency of a repeater) which would also imply conventional operation.

A D45MWA is definitely a MaxTrac 800 MHz 30w radio. Much better model number !
