Syntor X, X9000, Exciter Output

Post by kb0nly »

I lost my notes i had on this and i can't find it in the service manuals. What is the exciter output level on the X,X9000 radios? I need to the know the drive level to the PA on them.

Thinking of chopping another one up for a HT amp. I don't remember if the VHF and UHF had different drive level's or not, so if you know both then drop the info here!

I made an amp out of the back end of an otherwise dead Syntor X VHF a couple years ago, lost my notes on how i made it though.

My Syntor X manuals show 1.5 watt max on VHF and 2.2 watts on UHF.
