MT1000 accessory adapters???????

Post by Robert HT220 »

Just got a question regarding the MT1000/HT600/P200 accessory port adapters. I found one on ebay and was wondering what it was for? I want one that has the external antenna jack, but I don't know if this is it, or what the heck this one is for?

Robert,

That one is for the HiRose connector.

I have some NIB audio/earphone adaptors. They can be rewired for RF antenna jacks.

Looks like a Hirose adapter by the size of the connector covered by the rubber cap.

You can reassign the pins on any of them and install a BNC chassis mount connector in the top to make an rf adapter, that's how i make them.

I can check and see if i have enough spare parts to make another rf adapter.

The factory adapter for the MT will have a symbol of a "Y" on it, and I have seen them both with BNCs and jack plugs.

An RF adaptor with a BNC? NLY if you're making them let me know how much.
