CDM1550 FUSE ???

Post by RonJeremy »

Can someone help me find the internal fuse in a CDM1550 ? Is it the little white square near the heat sink ?

There is no internal fuse in a CDM.

If you're trying to set it up for ignition, that's done in programming.

If you're wondering why it won't turn on even though you have 12v on the power connector, it's because CDMs have a habit of dying like that, often requiring a trip to the depot for a new circuit board (although it might just be a broken on/off switch).

I'm also curious to know what you mean by "near the heat sink"... the whole bottom of the radio is the heat sink, everything is near it.

Sorry for the confusion. Near the back of the radio (back part of heat sink).
