Troy Console Screws?

Post by 60A »

Does anyone know, if troy console face plates use a screw that I could get at home depot, or is it something unique? Thanks!

The screw bar/plate that the face plates mount to will accept any type of screw that will fit in the whole of the face plate. I don't know how to explain it very well but the material of the screw bar is soft enough to screw into without a lot of force. We use a #15 torx to mount our face plates.

Yep, just use a self tapping screw or a sheet metal screw. What works nice is a black anodized panhead sheet metal screw. Blends right in.

Troy does offer a torx security head screw with their consoles.
