Minitor V Battery Life: Time between battery charges?

Post by PNGR1209 »

Originally advertised as 10 days, the best I have ever gotten is 3 or 4. Lately it seems to be getting shorter 2 or 3 days.

Anyone else have any experiance to add?

I get 2-3 days as well.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"

I have been told they are 8 days. I keep my pager on scan probably 40% of the time and alert the remainder of the time (excluding weekeds, then the percentages are switched) and I get around 6 days out of it. I have had my pager since June with the original battery.

I get about 3 days. I keep it on scan almost all hours I'm awake.

Has anyone else noticed the charger light turns green after a VERY short amount of time? If I throw my pager on the charger when it starts the low bat alert, and take it off when it turns green (about 45 min later) the pager shows a full charge but dies quickly (a few hours). Anyone else see this?

I guess I'll just ignore the red/green charger light and just charge it overnight- every night.

What radios do you own?: KW tk2170, tk730, etc.

mine is about 3 days. I always have information stored with the red light on and have it on SS. I usually charge it every night but once a month, let it go to 1 light.

ffexpCP: I have seen the same thing happen many times. I have two differnt chargers- no difference. Sometime taking the battery out and doing it by itself works better. Makes me think it is a contact problem. Definately a bug, since the lights tell you it is fully charged.
