systems saber out of band modification?
Does anyone know how to modify the out of band split on a UHF Systems Saber 440-471?
I have tried the regular saber mod just for the hell of it, I know it does not work!
any advice????

What are you actually attempting to do here??
If you are trying to hex edit the radio to operate further out of band or past the operational band limits of the modules, you are not going to get far with the UHF models.
If you are trying to get past 470 Mhz. on the UHF radio, simply enter the data, I do this all the time on mine and routinely get past 475.000 Mhz and it's usable there as well.
What version of RSS are you using?
R07.00.01 is the last version of 'CON-7' for the standard Sabers.
If you are running this, you should have no troubles with direct inputs and programming.
Usable range in UHF appears to fall off dramatically after 475 Mhz, and gets damn near stone deaf around 480 Mhz. if you can keep the VCO locked at that frequency.
There are certain 'tricks' that can be used to 'shift' the usable range upwards, but the lower end will suffer from this.
