Well damn. We have RSS but I just thought they might have something more modern as RSS can be a pain sometimes. It definately won't run on my P4 3Ghz machine, I'll have to go buy another old computer.
Depending on you application, you can use lab and dump in an MTS2000 codeplug, then you can use CPS to program it. I wouldn't even THINK of using this on a mission critical radio, but if your application is RX only, it would work fine.

not with CPS 2.00.01 it won't. it will read a hacked c/p then give a "model not supported" error and crap out. Tried this with three bastard MTX8K's, and it also gives the same error with any ancient (pre-Flashport) MTS2000's...

I've run MTSX 6.08 fine on a 2.2GHz P4...booting to a DOS diskette and running the RSS of a FAT16 partition. Read/wrote no problems.

my old 486 I was using before took a dump so I tried running RSS on an old Dell P3 667Mhz machine, Does the RSS HAVE to be on a fat16 partition? I booted off a win98se dos disk and tried running it (RSS) off a CD, it would start to load and then go right back to a dos prompt.
