Aftermarket 782-882 MHz Portable Radio Antenna at Tessco

I found this while looking for other toys:

So if you looking to get the jump on a 700MHz transition it might not be a bad $12.00 investment. I have mine ordered to try it out. :D

Tessco catalog...

...the new wireless catalog, that is.

Catalog has errors in it. Look at the Astro Saber accessories
section. Shows a nice 2.2 inch VHF (yes, VHF) stubby antenna
that IS available, but not with an SF connector. The same antenna
appears in other sections as well.

But they DO have a lot of great stuff, and all in one place, and
at good prices too.

The XTS5000 and XTS2500 are 700/800 and will work with this antenna.
Just have to know what your looking for.

The XTS5000 and XTS2500 are NOT mentioned.

Got to watch out for the offbrand antennas for Motorola portable radios, especially this connector style.

The mentioned ones are junk. Stick with the Centurian aftermarket antennas.
