Visar Question

Post by N4DES »

When did the Visar go out of production and did the conventional last any longer than the trunked versions on the production line?

Thanks

I don't remember the actual date, but I believe it was about 2000 that the Visar was dropped, maybe sooner.

The entire line got dropped at the same time, but 'support was available for all models to the end.

I was more interested in when the actual radio ceased production as I was anticipating that it would come up in a meeting.

Thanks for the rest of the info.
