Kenwood TK-2207 programming problem
I am using the Kenwood KPG-87D software to program the Kenwood TK-2207 VHF portable. I have an all in one ribless cable that I use for all Kenwood radios and have not had a problem yet with until today. It has the two ports on the right hand side where the remote mic plugs in. Just like the TK-272G where the mic plugs in, so does the programming cable. When I go to read or write, it states " Check all connections and communication port settings" All are what they are soposed to be. Does anyone know a way to fix this or is there a different cable for this radio? The indiv that bought it got it from the factory overseas. When you turn it on and move the channel selector, the voice is chinese or some other foreign languange. Thanks
Re: Kenwood TK-2207 programming problem
Most of the 2207's/3207's are counterfeit Kenwoods. The Scramblers don't work, the Fleetsync does not work, and you can not get into the service menu. If you got it off of eBay, good chance it's a fake. Do you use a sp/mic with the radio? Can you get another cable or radio to try?cduda wrote:I am using the Kenwood KPG-87D software to program the Kenwood TK-2207 VHF portable.
