2002 Impala with Bench Seats?

Post by [email protected] »

So, I am looking at purchasing an 02 impala (with less then 8000 miles on it) You know driven by a little old lady.. (actualy its my grandmothers and she hasnt driven it in about 2 years) it has a bench seat, so I am wondering what my options are for radio mounts, laptop mount and such.. Right now I am running a Jotto with universal mount in my jimmy along with my toughbook. And 3 mobile radios..

Ideas? With out replacing the seats?

tnx

Have you looked at the Jotto Contour Console meant for the Impala? They are pretty well "plug and play" consoles. Drop it in, a couple of screws on the ashtry bracket and you are ready for radios.

Now for the laptop mount.. Jotto makes the no drill mount except the ones I have used in the past they havent allowed a passenger to sit in it comfortablly.. Any ideas..

I have a 2002 impala with bench seats and have loved my contour console. I needed to take the drivers seat off to get it in, but it fits perfectly, no screw holes to drive. Its great!!

Nice, simple and clean looking.

How's the access to the radios? Looks like a jotto-desk swing arm articulated mount.

Radio access from the drivers side is easy.. From Passenger side is non-existent..
