Pin actuator inside of JEDI's ACC connector - how 2 replace?

Post by wireless.friendly »

Hi all!

I am thinking about recasing my MTS2000, but new case comes with empty hole in ACC connector, i.e. pin actuator (which works as antenna switch for PSM; as I know) does not present!

See pictures:

How I can remove pin actuator from old case and insert to new case? I examine both cases, but still no have ideas how I can do that.

Please help!

The actuator can be pushed out from the inside. It takes a bit of force but will pop out.

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

if you use a dull pointed oblect and push directly on the tit, it will pop out. then just pop it in the new housing. (you may want to clean the rubber sealing boot on it).

I done it! Thanks 2 all!

But not sure that after few ejectings/insertings, case will hold it reliable.

Do not ejectings it w/o unnecessarily!
