Because of I set something wrong(maybe), My GP300 have a problem...
When I turn it on and key it the first time, It got a continuous beep sound but without any transmission. And I de-key it and key it again, it's transmission become fine. But when I leave it alone for a while, and key it again, it become the same as the first time.
I had change something in the "Alignment menu" and may make it wrong.
Anyone can help me??? Thanks!!!

Re: GP300 Programming Problem
OK, item 1, sounds like you have the "Forced Monitor" enabled. The beep lets you know you didnot Monitor first, enables carrier squelch or monitor. The second PTT is normal operation .vr2usp wrote: When I turn it on and key it the first time, It got a continuous beep sound but without any transmission. Item 2: Bad antenna contact, incorrect antenna, or the power settings have been fubared.vr2usp wrote:I find that the Power output become really LOW and can receive it around 15 feet... Please help my GP300!!! :(
It is also posible if the radio receives OK, that the control transistor blew out, happens very often due to incorrect antenna, or bad antenna contact.

- What radios do you own?: Maxon,Motorola,Kenwood, uniden
toubled GP300
what frequency do you have programmed in TX and RX and if you are using a subtone , what is it?
what is the highest and lowest frequency the radio is able to have?
has the accessroies socket been changed?
read the radio and look at the alert settings.

Hope that is helpful

I will tell you all what's the problem when I got it back!

But, I just find another mot. for my use, and that is saber III(VHF), needed to wait for the verify from the authority dept.
