Spectra error 5/10

Spectra error 5/10

Got an A9 Spectra here. Sometimes is does the looping reset thing, sometimes comes on with an error 5/10. Not in my book, any ideas ?

Usually those higher error codes refer to external equipment: combining boxes, sirens, DEKs, etc.

Thats what I figured. Does anyone know what this might indicate?
Mabey a missing secure module or box?

Chris,

You would need to get a good read on the codeplug info in the radio. Then you may be able to see if the settings are causing the radio to look for an external device.

Error 05/10

This error code is usally seen on a radio that has two(dual control heads).
the radio is not seeing the second control head. this can be changed in the programming. hope this helps.
