if you mean use a gp340 cable on a ht1250, yes you can use that cable.

Is it GP340 is same as GP328/338 in Asia version?
And what is the programming software? is it CPS and the version?

you can call motorola (1-800-422-4210) and see what version you will need for that radio.

No!
GP340 has a different RSS.The asian Professional Series CPS will work on GP338.If you change the regional code of the GP338,you can program it with all conventional Professional Series CPS versions,but GP340 CPS
will not work,because this radio is a select-5 radio.
