Will this charger work with Li-ion?

4734 charger
I personally wouldn't use a 4734 on a LiIon Saber battery.
I would get a tri-chem charger instead.
The individual cell voltage of a LiIon pack is twice that of
a NiCD or NiMH battery.
If someone has successfully made the 4734 work as a tri-chem
charger we'd all like to hear about it.

If memory serves, the NTN4734 charger is only a DUAL chemistry charger for NiMh and NiCd batteries.
You will probably run the risk of overcharging the Li battery chemistries if used to charge one due to the somewhat 'heavy' charge cycles, and the lack of proper pulse strings for that particular chemistry.
To be absolutely safe, the word would more than likely be a firm NO on its use.
