What are all the features of MDC1200 Signalling and Limited MDC1200 Signalling - how do they compare up? Also just wanted to know, I have several radios MDC1200 have keypads and MDC1200 limited radios do not have a keypad/screen. Want to have Unit ID on the screen with the MDC for the keypad radios. Is it possible to have Unit ID on the non-keypad models and how does the ID work for those? Can I do the MDC Unit ID Signalling with just a conventional analouge system, no repeaters or trunks, or do I need a certain system to make the MDC1200/MDC1200 Limited ID work?
Thanks all.

Motorola, Federal Signal and the MX7000 RULE!
For nonscreen radios (cp200, gp300, p110, etc), if they have MDC 1200 then you can program them to Tx the MDC before, after, you press the PTT or both. You just give it an ID number and then make sure you enable MDC in the channel and that's it.
You can use it on simplex if you want.
You can diplay the ID on your radios that have MDC1200 PTT Decode (HT1250, HT1550, PR400, etc, etc). You go into the call list (Waris Series) and under the MDC you would enter the ID number and an alias to go with it. Again make sure that you enable MDC in the Rx and Tx personalities.
If you can give some model numbers of your radios I could be a little more specific.
