MCR100 12 Volt Power

Post by Stage 2 »

I have an MCR100 Repeater which, as most know is essentially an R100 with a couple of extra letters in the I.D. The repeater is in great shape, but, did not come with the 12 Volt power option. How difficult would it be to retrofit this option and, where could I find what I need? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the Flexar power supply. They have one big capacitor and the regulator board is bolted to the capacitor terminals.

No they do NOT have battery revert. You can just substute the external battery or power supply at the RED lead going to the PA and the large board in the cover.
