I'm in trying to replace the housing on my ht1250 off ebay.

How do I get the "connnection" off the old housing where you connect the external mic to? i removed the adhesive which goes on top, but now I can't get the part that is attached to the ribbon to come off the old housing... are there any tips to do this?
