DeskTRac model?

Post by philn »

Can't find any DeskTrac model number decoding. Can someone tell me what a L44SUM70DOB comes out to be. I know it's a UHF, wondering if it's a repeater. Thanks.

Yah should be a repeater, with the skeleton of two Maxtracs inside. I believe the transmitter unit is rated for 40W, 16ch, 450-470Mhz. If you have it in your posession, crack the unit open and see what's inside. Also, try an internet search with a zero instead of O on the suffix.

Funny, I just picked up a Desktrac recently too. Let's get together one evening and compare units.

Ok, thanks. I finally found some more info. on the DeskTrac series and discovered it wasn't a repeater. Thanks for the confirmation.
