I need MT1000 Programming Help

Post by btfire21 »

I just tried to reprogram a MT 1000 Low band radio. It read from the radio fine but when i added a few channel and went to upload it the radi got stuck. It displays 88 and wont connect to the computer now. The computer is an old 486 toshiba and the RIb and cable are factory made. I tried to reset the lock line pin but still nothing. Once and a while when I turn it back on it will display channel but then it will go back into the 88 mode if u bump it.

i am using 3.00.00

bad connection in or on the controller is possible if bumping it affects it any.

I've recovered many of them by grounding the lock detect line and dumping a fresh codeplug in. Sometimes you have to get more agressive and change the bandsplit to something else and then change it back to totally overwrite everything.

If you can't get it let me know, i could always look at it for you.
