I'm having trouble with low rx audio on my VHF JT1000 when I field program a narrow band simplex system. My transmitted audio sounds fine to other users. However on receive, their audio is markedly quiet and difficult to hear. I have selected "Narrow" on the band switch when field programming the unit.
Is it that the NARROW band feature on the JT1000 only adjusts the TX audio and that low audio RX is something that I have to live with.....or perhaps am I doing something wrong?
