cdm1550 error code

does anyone know the error codes or where i can find them? i have a cdm1550ls+ and i had a new codeplug dumped into it and was accepted. radio appeared to work ok, now im trying to read it and reprogram it. i have two versions of cps... r04.00.00 and r06.01.00 and when i read it with 4 it tells me something about could not add 20 personality assignments to zone during unpack.... and with 6 it gives me 4-1379. any input???

you have the wrong version of the software. if your radio is a real cdm1550 and it's giving you that error code then you are using the wrong cps. open your cps and click help and click about cps and click details. i bet it don't say AA in that spot. your cps is for an overseas version of the cdm's & ht's. it probablly says LA, or MD, or AZ. call motorola and get the right cps and you will be in business. if you have programed it with one of those before, somebody else has written to it with a newer version and now yours won't work.

well your right on one of them. my ver 6 has MD but my 4 has AA. and no one else has written it since mine cuz its my personal radio. dunno what ver i originally used to program it with but either way its annoying. thanks tho
