MOL account

I am new to MOL. I ordered astro 25 R.08 and got it the other day. Now when there comes an update to this where on my MOL would I find it at. Also once I paid for this CPS and got my hard copy shouldn't I be able to down load it from MOL as well?

When in MOL go to SETTINGS - PREFERENCES - GENERAL SETTINGS where all your personal info is listed and check the block at the bottom for "add me to email distribtuion". You'll receive a weekly email with the latest updates by Motorola and if the software is updated you can click on the notification, it will automatically go to the log on screen and after logging in will take you to the download.

If you want to look for it, go to the RESOURCE CENTER and on the left side you'll see a drop down search section, click on software and the appropriate category.

Rich, thanks for the info. I do have that box checked and I still haven't gotten any of the weekly emails from M.

I got my hard copy first, then I eventually had to call them so they could add me to the MOL update Resource Page as described above, so you may or may not have access to it yet. If not, just give them a call and they'll add it for you.

On the opening page of your MOL there is a news section where the updates are as well as all kinds of other news like SRN's etc.. I have a subscription to the Astro25 Portable software and right now 8.00.01 is in that section ready for download.
